The former longtime executive editor of ARTnews, she has published widely in the Wall Street Journal, W Magazine, and many other publications, and maintains popular feeds on Instagram and Twitter. In her consulting business, Robin Cembalest Editorial Strategies, she works with art-world clients to design and implement editorial and digital content. She also founded and directs the Niboristas, a mentoring and networking group for young art-world professionals.
Eric Avila is an interdisciplinary graphic designer who specializes in typography, branding, and print design. At Robin Cembalest Editorial Strategies he is responsible for the designing brand assets (logo, presentations, proposals, and business cards). He is also a working artist who frequently collaborates on mural projects with Art School Without Walls, part of the youth-development collective Cre8tive YouTH*ink. His latest painting was recently installed at Martina, a new restaurant from the Union Square Hospitality group.
